Ekaterina graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Psychology from the Moscow State University of Psychology and Education. While working with business trainers on real company cases, she developed a passion for coaching and people development. During her studies, she mastered the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), based on Jung’s theories. This methodology allows identifying personality types, understanding and explaining natural differences between people, and recognizing the contribution of each type to a company. Today, MBTI is widely used as an assessment tool in Europe, the USA, and Russia. Ekaterina has also mastered the DISC personality assessment, which she actively applies in her work.
She completed executive coaching training at the Institute of Psychodrama and Psychoanalysis under the guidance of a former partner of one of Russia’s largest consulting firms, ECOPSI, and became a certified trainer. Additionally, in the UK, Ekaterina trained at Focal Point, focusing on skills such as negotiation, teamwork, and delegation.
In 2023, she continued expanding her knowledge of personality assessment tools and began mastering the Hogan and Harthill systems, used to evaluate employees’ leadership potential.

The name of the future company was chosen by Ekaterina and her partner to reflect their mission and purpose — “to find the best people for clients.” Benchmark Executive Recruitment officially began operations in 2015.
Today, the market recognizes us as the international group of companies Benchmark Executive, providing executive search and HR consulting services. The group includes two agencies — Benchmark and Be-EXEC — and has a broad geographic presence: Russia, Serbia, China, UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
